Grace Christian School will begin on Tuesday, September 14 at 8:30 a.m. We are taking Monday as a teacher inservice day and class prep time. We are looking forward to a great school year. We are still accepting enrollments for new students. Any current school parent who brings us a new full time student will have his/her $100.00 registration fee waived for this year. Word of mouth advertising is aways the best, so help us find some new students for the new year!
Some infomation on this site is not up to date as we lost our IT man who was working on it. We will be working hard to update it asap. The school calendar on this site is NOT correct. Parents will receive a new one at the Parent's Meeting next week.

One of the great features of Grace Christian School is that we offer a complete education, grades 3-12, online. Anyone, anywhere, who has internet access can take classes from us. This opens a whole new world to the disabled, parents who want to homeschool, but need extra help and those who never completed high school.
Do you know that a lot of people are only one or two classes away from graduating, but had to drop out? Just a few courses keep them from having that vital diploma to get a better job opportunity. Many can’t manage the schedule to go to an adult school and finish. But with Grace’s Distance Learning, they can finish up at their own convenience. Will you help us spread the word? Tell your friends, family and neighbors about how they can graduate online! They’ll even be able to go through our graduation ceremony in June if they do.

Most of our students enjoy taking our ceramics class. Now in its third year, our ceramics class, taught by Pastor Bob Rockhill, remains a popular class. But it’s not just because it’s fun to play with clay that makes this class important. Recent studies show that students involved in the arts, such as ceramics, painting or music, actually get better grades. That’s because the arts stimulate the right side of the brain. And proper learning requires both parts of the brain to work at its best.
Take Geometry for example. You may think that it is just another math class that uses the left side of the brain. But have you ever stopped to think that everything you draw, everything you see is made up of geometric shapes such as angles and circles? Making these shapes in clay involve hand and eye coordination as well as hand motor skills. All these thing work together to create a more proper functioning brain. So, it’s not just fun, it’s good for our students too!

We don't celebrate Halloween at Grace Christian, but we do celebrate the Lord's Harvest! So, on Friday, October 31, we will have our yearly Harvest Festival. Students will play games, bob for apples and enjoy a pizza. (Farm pizza?) Parents are invited to send goodies for their lunch, but the cafeteria will be closed on Friday as each class will be eating pizza. If your child does not like pizza, please send a sack lunch. We'll be posting pictures of this even as well.
