Extracurricular Programs

extrac01.jpgextrac02.jpgWe strive at Grace to provide our students with many electives and extracurricular activities. Our major event of the year is Student Convention. The conventions provide a focus for our students for the entire year. Students work toward competitions in art, drama, science & history projects, sports, checkers, chess, table tennis and over 100 other events. Students are provided time each week to work on their events and to hone their skills. (Update-Our convention lost access to the University of Redlands. We are trying to find a new location)

Grace also belongs to the Christian Athletic Association. Through this group we are able to compete in a Christian league in Volleyball, Basketball, and Football. Our students really enjoy playing against other schools throughout Southern California.

Through the years we have also provided opportunities for our students to take classes in Karate, guitar, piano, leather making, drafting, stamp collecting, chess and other electives. We are constantly challenging our students to stretch themselves into new and exciting fields that might lead them one day into lifelong interests.

Our students go on field trips during the year. Some of the places we have visited are:

Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, the Dairy, LaserQuest, IMAX Theater, Van Ness Water Gardens, Pumpkin Patch, Adventure City, Bowling, Queen Mary, Medieval Times, La Habra Children's Museum, Nixon Library and other locales.
